Who are the people in your family?

Well, I have an extended family living in Beijing. In addition to my parents and I, my cousin and his family live nearby. Actually, my cousin is kind of the black sheep of my family. He's always goffing off in his studies and has no ambitions. 在北京我有一個大家庭。除了我和我爸媽，我的表兄和他的家人也住在附近。實際上我的表兄有點敗家子的味道。他在學習上總是偷懶，沒有任何理想抱負。

（nuclear family 核心家庭 ，這個表達沒有錯誤，但是中國學生說得有點多，可以換成：My family is quite small. 或者My family is quite typical）

2 blood is thicker than water 血濃于水，血緣的關系比其他的關系更加牢固

如：You know what they say about blood being thicker than water. My cousin will probably end up working in his father's family.You know there is a lot of nepotism in my country. 血濃于水，我的表兄可能最終會在他老爸的公司工作，畢竟在我們國家裙帶關系很多。
