【原】稻谷黃了

1.真沒想到昨天這雨后初晴，太陽就出了那么大，氣溫就升了那么高。夜里嫌棄在門口支起蚊帳麻煩，所以我就直接鉆回桃園小屋睡覺了，沒想到氣溫有點高，整個桃園小屋都有點感覺熱乎乎的，上半夜時只能吹著風扇才能睡得著。當然也有追小說，追著追著越看越興奮的原因，所以一直到10點多，天氣沒那么熱了，我關上風扇也沒那么熱了，才成功入睡。不過晚上睡得倒還算挺香的，期間也就1點多醒了一次，隨后幾乎是一覺就睡到了五點二十多分。

2. 今早起床給雞鴨鵝們弄飼料時，我發(fā)現(xiàn)天空灰蒙蒙的，陰沉沉的，甚至還有點涼意。后來我想起來家里的米不多了，于是就趕緊先回家把稻谷搬到三輪車上，給老爸說一下，讓他今天記得去大米加工坊打米。隨后我就帶上一些小零食，準備待會兒干完活餓了就吃點。

3. 很難想象早上那么冷，這會兒在桃園里修剪桃樹枝，居然稍微動一下就熱了一身汗，或許是因為今天干活的那一塊桃樹生長的地方不太透氣的原因吧。等忙到7點多時，我也實在熱得不行了，正好這時候三伯打電話來讓我和他一起去幫忙郵寄一點花生給堂姐的小舅。幾乎是剛掛完三伯的電話，老爸又打電話來說，他準備出門兒釣魚去了。這時候我正好也熱得不行了，就干脆回了家。到家后，我先脫下那濕透了的衣服，隨后趕緊洗了個溫水澡，之后吃了點老爸留給我的包子。簡單收拾一下，我就和三伯一起去了鎮(zhèn)上，陪他郵寄了點東西。

4. 路上我發(fā)現(xiàn)有人家的稻子居然已經(jīng)收割完了，這時候我才突然發(fā)現(xiàn)原來時光已至深秋，稻谷已經(jīng)金黃，豐收的季節(jié)即將來臨，不得不說，時間過得真快啊。

5. 等回到家時，天已經(jīng)熱得不行了，只有躲在門樓里吹著自然風才感覺舒服點。

6. 中午吃過午飯后，我拿起吊床掛進門口池塘邊的樹林里，在那兒吹著池塘邊的涼風，睡著還算舒服。可惜后來快2點時，陽光照過來了，樹林里也不涼快了，于是也就只能重新回到門樓里。還好在那門樓里噴上些井水，然后再支起小床，吹著自然風，整個下午也就沒那么難受了。

1. I really didn’t expect that after the rain cleared yesterday, the sun would be so intense and the temperature would rise so high. At night, I thought setting up a mosquito net at the door was a hassle, so I just went back to sleep in the Peach Garden Cottage. Unexpectedly, the temperature was a bit high, making the whole cottage feel quite warm. I could only fall asleep with the fan on during the first half of the night. Of course, I was also reading a novel— the more I read, the more excited I got. So it wasn’t until after 10 o’clock, when the weather cooled down and I didn’t feel hot even after turning off the fan, that I finally fell asleep. However, I slept quite soundly that night. I only woke up once around 1:00, and then basically slept straight until 5:20.

2. This morning, when I got up to prepare feed for the chickens, ducks, and geese, I noticed the sky was gray, overcast, and even a bit cool. Later, I remembered that there wasn’t much rice left at home, so I hurried back first to load the rice grains onto the tricycle. I told my dad to remember to take them to the rice mill today to have rice hulled. After that, I took some snacks with me, planning to eat them if I got hungry after working later.

3. It’s hard to believe how cold it was this morning— now, while pruning peach tree branches in the orchard, I break out in a sweat even with a little movement. Maybe it’s because the area where I’m working today has poor ventilation among the peach trees. When it was past 7 o’clock, I was too hot to go on. Just then, my third uncle called and asked me to help him mail some peanuts to my cousin’s uncle (mother’s younger brother). I had barely hung up the phone with my third uncle when my dad called, saying he was going out to fish. Since I was already too hot, I simply went back home. When I got home, I first took off my sweat-soaked clothes, then quickly took a warm shower, and ate some steamed buns my dad had left for me. After a quick tidy-up, I went to the town with my third uncle and accompanied him to mail the items.

4. On the way, I saw that some families had already harvested their rice. It was then that I suddenly realized it was already late autumn— the rice ears were golden, and the harvest season was approaching. I have to say, time really flies.

5. By the time I got back home, it was extremely hot. I only felt comfortable when I stayed under the gateway (eaves of the main door) and enjoyed the natural breeze.

6. After lunch, I took my hammock and hung it in the woods by the pond at the door. The cool breeze by the pond made the nap quite comfortable. Unfortunately, around 2 o’clock, the sun came through, and the woods weren’t cool anymore, so I had to go back to the gateway. Luckily, spraying some well water under the gateway, setting up a small bed, and letting the natural breeze blow made the whole afternoon much more bearable.
